New Years Resolutions...

Hello and Happy New Year! We wish you all a year of love and learning and thankfulness! Our holidays have been so peaceful, so before we get all busy and forget, here's a list of things we learned in the year 2007:
1. How to handle enormous amounts of estrogen in the same house all at once!!!
2. How to be completely humbled...I mean the really real kind of humble....by the work and kindness of other people. (Seriously, we could write an inspirational book just listing the kind getures that were bestowed upon us this year.)
3. How to really question the hard stuff during tough times, and still feel comforted by the one to whom the questions are directed.
4. How to remain married after spending 26 days in a tiny hospital room together!
5. How to live on one income for 6 months and no income for 3 months.
6. How to drive a van
7. How amazing the medical profession is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8. How to move in two days while working full-time (thanks moms and dads!!)
9. How to cook primerib (sort of......)
10. How to swear under your breath while a child throws a 45-minute tantrum in front of millions of people-- all while smiling at the same time!!!
11. How to take a deep breath and not sweat the small stuff (thanks for teaching us that one, Ella)

So, now on to new years resolutions! Lets see, we have goals this year to simplify life, take a deep breath, enjoy each other. Janelle's resolution is to go an entire year without a speeding ticket (yep, that's right-- at least one ticket a year since 2001. Two tickets in the years 2002 and 2004.) Casey's resolution is to be all around healthy (physically, mentally, and spiritually).
How about you? Any good new years resolutions? Any hints on how we can meet ours???
