Day 12 - Update

Friends, it's been great updating you! I want to thank you for your un-ending support. In rounds this morning our cardiologist that saw Hadley pre-op, during most of her recovery, and for the first time in a week here came in. She utterred the one single 4-letter word which we have been hoping to hear. H-O-M-E. The cardiologists have a big meeting every Monday afternoon and will be discussing Hadley along with a bunch of other cases. Anyways, the thought is that if they can get enough support, Hadley could be transported with Janelle back to Boise to finish her recovery over in the NICU at St. Al's where we began this journey a long time ago. She still has 8 days left of the antibiotic treatment so that is their main concern. They are also keeping an eye on her pulmonary arteries that are stretched as well as a type of heartbeat that is "atypical" this far along her recovery path. But we heard those words and are hopeful once again, yet cautious because we know that the story can change in a matter of hours here. Thanks again for your support and I'll update again when I have more info on our potential homecoming.
