Hello friends! We just got done talking with the Dr. Ungerlieder as well as the rest of the team in the PICU this morning. Good news! Looks like they don't want to do surgery for the small constriction in her pulmonary artery. She has really turned around in the last 24 hours or so. She has lost a lot of fluid and still been able to keep her blood pressure in the acceptable range.(which is good!) They just took her off the pacing machine and are still trying to wean her off of some of the drugs. She will continue to get some of Janelle's milk through a feeding tube and they are setting that up again right now.
The doctors all seemed very positive about her response in the last 24 hours and have her scheduled for a procedure tomorrow to close her chest. They will leave most everything else "plugged" in for a couple more days to make sure she does well with the chest closure. Janelle and I are very encouraged and it is a blessing to see our daughter progress. We've gone through just about every up and down in this adventure, yet our little Hadley stays strong even when we feel like we can't be sometimes.
She looks much less swollen today and has been very active this morning. The nurse told us that she woke up at about 5:30 this morning and has been actively awake, looking around, as well as moving around a bunch. She is still probably moving around and gazing at Janelel as I write this. This all helps in the healing process as her movement will allow some of the fluids to move around in her body and she can work them out of the tissues.
On a side note, I was looking back through my posts and realized that I left out a thank you. Our sister-in-law Amy's parents Jim and Patti Johnson as well as our friend Hilary's mom and dad Judy and Roger came up to visit the other day. I wanted to thank you for stopping by and we are really hoping that things go well with you too Patti! It was really nice to spend some time talking. Again, our thanks go out to all who have been in constant support/prayer for our situation. We love you all and can't thank you enough.

Following your blog and praying through this journey with you has allowed me to experience unceasing prayer for the first time. It is so hard to describe but my spirit has been in non-stop prayer for the past week. It isn't a worry, or a dwelling on the situation, but simply a constant prayer. Even though the situation has been overwhelmingly horrible, God is using it. He has used it in my life to experience what true unending prayer is like. thank you.
